The 6R54 Seiko caliber with date display is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically charges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the mainspring of the watch to wind. This spring is the source of energy. Manual winding of the movement is also possible. When the watch is fully charged, the watch has a power reserve of no less than approx. 72 hours. The tick rate of this automatic is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 24 jewels. The 6R caliber is completely manufactured in Seiko's factory.
