THE STORY
As a tribute to three generations of inventors – Léon, Gaston and Willy Breitling – the Premier Datora is the most sophisticated Breitling chronograph with its full calendar and moon phase. As Willy Breitling said, the Prime Minister is an "unmistakable stamp of impeccable taste". This latest generation of Premier chronographs brings back to life its timeless elegance and showcases Breitling's highest level of watchmaking through a series of iconic Premier complications: the chronograph, the duograph and the datora. Revived by heritage, the Premier Datora features rectangular chronograph buttons and Arabic numerals and showcases a variety of elegant design details such as grooves on the sides of the case, open sapphire casebacks and vintage-inspired hands. The Datora is available in two variants: in stainless steel with a copper dial and a brown alligator strap or in 18k red gold with a silver dial and a brown alligator strap. “Datora” was a term used by Breitling in the 1940s to refer to a complete calendar chronograph displaying the day, date, month and the various phases of the moon.
